Kate Brown, Chair of Farm Health and Safety Working Group for Rutgers
Cooperative Extension, informed us that an OSHA inspector conducted
a 3.5-hour inspection which included worker interviews, wet bulb globe
temperature recordings, and a complete evaluation of heat stress prevention
practices in the Hammonton area last week. Every grower should be aware
on how to protect your workers from heat stress. A compilation of resources

information in the Plant and Pest Advisory and will continue to post new
