The name has changed, but there are more sessions and various topic not included in the past. The
pre-expo sessions will be held on Tuesday, January 20th (On-Farm Food Safety Workshop, Pesticide
Safety Workshop, Integrated Pest Management Workshop on Fruits and Vegetables and a Farm
Labor & Regulations Workshop).
Wednesday, January 21st the trade show opens along with educational sessions on vegetable production, field crop technologies, tree fruit production, nursery crop production, greenhouse/high tunnel session, small fruit specialty crop production and a blueberry session. At noon there will be a Women in Ag luncheon with Carrie Edsall, Professor on Animal Science at SUNY Cobleskill as the keynote speaker.
Thursday, January 22nd sessions are planned for forage and pastures for equine health, soil health
management, farm marketing and business management, new ag technologies, livestock production
and marketing, specialty crops, agricultural environmental issues and cut flower production and marketing. Dr. Temple Grandin, Professor at Colorado State University and world-renowned expert on
animal behavior will discuss, among other things, why grazing plays a critical role in sustainable
agriculture. at a 11:30-1:00 session.
This year’s sessions have been developed from recommendations of the agricultural community. If
